Education & Awareness
We believe that knowledge is the foundation of empowerment. Our Education & Awareness initiatives are designed to inform, inspire, and activate. From community workshops and youth programs to public forums and resource guides, we equip individuals with the tools they need to understand their rights, advocate for themselves, and make informed decisions. Through culturally relevant, accessible, and inclusive education, we help break down barriers and build up voices.

Community Engagement

Through our Community Engagement efforts, we connect directly with residents, local leaders, and grassroots organizations to listen, learn, and lead together. Resource Access
Underserved communities often face overwhelming obstacles when trying to access basic services. That’s why our Resource Access program focuses on bridging the gap between individuals and the support they deserve. We provide direct assistance and referrals for housing, food, healthcare, legal aid, and more — ensuring people know where to go and how to get help. By removing red tape and offering compassionate, one-on-one support, we help individuals take the next step toward stability and self-sufficiency.

Toby Kirkpatrick
Executive Director
Toby Kirkpatrick brings over 15 years of nonprofit leadership and community advocacy experience. With a background in social work and policy reform, He leads CARES with vision, empathy, and fierce determination to ensure every voice is heard.
George Brunner
Outreach Coordinator
George Brunner designs and leads our workshops, youth programs, and community education events. She’s passionate about building confidence through learning and mentorship.
Frances Durocher
Community Engagement Manager
Frances Durocher connects with local residents, partners, and grassroots groups to foster trust and collaboration. He believes in community-led solutions and empowerment from the ground up.
